Department Overview

Job Description

• Working closely with the Sales Team to deliver customer-driven, world-class, leading-edge, end-to-end solutions that rise to the challenges of first responder, government, utility, transportation, and enterprise customers.
• Creating RF Propagation (Coverage) maps based on input from the Sales team and Project Manager. Creating equipment lists based on customer requirements and RF Propagation maps.
• Creating System Block Diagrams to communicate system design information to the customer and sales team.
• Writing System Descriptions based on the equipment list and customer requirements.
• Communicating all design information to the Sales Team and incorporating it into proposal documentation for delivery to customers.
• Communicating and dissipating complex technical topics to a non-technical audience.
• Defines directions and requirements to ensure timely implementation and quality of the technical solutions.
• Provide engineering services for Customers, including commissioning and testing Motorola equipment in accordance with technical requirements, documentation and contract obligations, system presentation for the internal/external customers.
• Telecommuting permitted from anywhere within the United States.
• 20% domestic travel.

Target Base Salary Range: $125,840 - $148,400 USD Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.

Basic Requirements

• Masters degree or
• Bachelors degree + 2 years experience.
