This role exists to design, build, and operationalize AI as core infrastructure—not experimentation.  The Principal AI Architect owns the architecture, security, and scalability of AI across  Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Microsoft 365, and integrated SaaS platforms, enabling CFOforIT to scale revenue and delivery without scaling headcount.

Within 90 days: 

  • Production-grade Copilot Studio agents deployed with enterprise authentication and security.
  • Microsoft 365 data structured and AI-ready. 

Within 6 months:

  • AI embedded into core workflows with reduced manual effort. 
  • AI systems operating reliably with minimal founder intervention. 

Within 12 months: 

  • AI capabilities provide measurable competitive advantage. 
  • Revenue per employee increases through leverage. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Architect and implement enterprise-grade Copilot and Copilot Studio solutions.
  • Design secure Microsoft Graph integrations and permission models. 
  • Build AI-driven workflows using Power Automate and APIs. 
  • Integrate AI with HubSpot, Karbon, QuickBooks Online, Gusto, and Dialpad. 
  • Establish AI governance, auditability, and security controls. 
  • Convert unstructured data into structured, queryable AI knowledge. 

Required Qualifications 

  • 8–15+ years building production systems.
  • Deep Microsoft ecosystem experience (Entra ID, Graph, SharePoint, M365). 
  • Hands-on Copilot Studio and automation experience. 
  • Strong understanding of AI grounding, RAG, and governance.
