About You

We're looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused individual who is eager to make a positive impact. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for answering incoming calls, gathering information, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Your exceptional communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences will make you an invaluable asset to our team.

Key Responsibilities

* Answer incoming calls from healthcare providers, veterans, and beneficiaries, gathering information and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner

  • Conduct research and evaluations to determine the best course of action for each caller
  • Utilize client systems, soft phone systems, and customer relationship management software to efficiently manage calls and data
  • Document call activity and make requests for corrective action into VA systems
  • Maintain a working knowledge of applicable VA regulations, including 72-hour notification requirements
  • Act as an effective team member, collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

* High School Diploma or GED required

  • 1-2 years' experience in customer service preferred
  • General office skills and knowledge of standard office equipment
  • Working knowledge of software such as Excel and Word
  • Data entry and 10-key experience necessary
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Personal traits of high-level commitment, motivation, energy, team orientation, professionalism, trust, personal honesty, and integrity
