What You'll Be Doing

As a Remote Chat Support Specialist, you'll be responsible for handling incoming customer support questions via live chat on our clients' websites and social media accounts. Your primary goal will be to provide timely, accurate, and empathetic responses to customer inquiries, ensuring that their issues are resolved efficiently and effectively. You'll also be responsible for:

  • Responding to customer inquiries via live chat on websites and social media accounts
  • Resolving customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Providing product information and answering questions about our clients' offerings
  • Escalating complex issues to senior support agents or management as needed
  • Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and issues
  • Collaborating with other support agents to ensure seamless customer experiences

Contract Length and Rate

* Contract length: No fixed term

  • Rate: $25 to $35 per hour

Skills and Background Needed

To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and background:

  • A device able to access social media and website chat functions (Phone/Tablet/Laptop)
  • Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to closely follow provided steps and instructions
  • 10+ hours availability per week
  • Reliable internet connection
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with live chat software
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

  • Location: Remote work online worldwide (United States preferred)
