Responsibilities

We’re looking for a hands‑on AI developer intern to help us build an AI‑assisted tool that analyzes the impact of schema changes, streamlines the impact assessment, and automates the generation of schema, and other deliverables. You’ll work closely with senior developers to translate domain knowledge into reliable automation and clear, repeatable processes.

This internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in software testing automation, C# development, and AI-assisted coding techniques while contributing to a major industrial software product used worldwide. You will work within a large organization using an Agile development process, collaborating with experienced developers and engineers while contributing directly to the quality and robustness of the product

  • Schema Impact Analysis
    • Analyze the impacts of Schema changes on downstream workflows. Propose safe change strategies and highlight breaking vs. non‑breaking diffs.
  • AI-Based Solution Development:
    • Prototype an AI‑assisted analyzer that summarizes schema diffs, predicts potential impact areas, and drafts upgrade instructions.
    • Wrap the solution in a CLI or service so it fits into the CI/CD process.
  • Deliverables
    • Generate and publish Schema and other Deliverables ensuring correct versioning, metadata, and documentation..
  • Upgrade Instructions
    • Produce concise, step‑by‑step instruction files for upgrading from the previous release to the current including pre‑req checks, rollback notes, and validation steps.
  • Automated Tests & Baselines
    • Update and extend automated tests to cover schema changes; refresh baseline files and implement regression checks to detect unintended differences early.
  • Collaboration & Documentation
    • Partner with domain experts to validate outputs; maintain docs for developers and downstream consumers.

Education / Qualifications

  • Working toward a BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data/AI, or related field.
  • Strong programming skills (preferably C#); familiarity with data formats such as XML, JSON.
  • Interest in or experience with AI-assisted coding tools.
  • Comfort with Git workflows, code reviews, and branch strategies.
  • Understanding of CI/CD basics
  • Ability to write clear technical documentation and communicate trade‑offs.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a large Agile development team.
