Job Summary

Job Description

DUTIES:                               First-Level Supervisor of Data Analysts responsible for providing uniform access to and transparency for Comcast data assets; perform data modelling and write code using SQL; build and maintain data marts and cubes; use Informatica or Teradata to perform ETL processes, process code, and run queries; use Informatica to extract data from relational systems (including Oracle and SQL Server) and flat files into a data warehouse environment; work with Agile and Scrum methodologies, DevOps, and JIRA; generate reports using Tableau; tune complex SQL for better performance; transform data using Python; build data assets on top of the Avaya CMS telephony system; use Trino to process cross-platform data transformations and to run queries; work with MinIO on-prem and AWS cloud-based data lakes; develop technical requirements for SQL Server MDX and Tabular cubes; lead the Cx/Care data portfolio and alignment with business stakeholders; interpret data in clear, concise terms; lead UAT and data profiling for all releases, new projects, and data ingests; lead and manage the data stewardship build logic and STTM process; provide answers and information regarding questions about Cx/Care related data; partner with Engineering to create and monitor data quality checks and alerts; support standardization efforts for referential analysis and project deliverables; create and maintain detailed documentation, including data lineage through data ingestion;  plan the data portfolio to ensure all assets are aligned; and guide and mentor junior-level analysts. Position is eligible to work remotely one or more days per week, per company policy.

REQUIREMENTS:             Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics Communications, or related technical field, and five (5) years of experience performing data modelling and writing code using SQL; using Informatica or Teradata to perform ETL processes, process code, and run queries; of which three (3) years include using Informatica to extract data from relational systems (including Oracle and SQL Server) and flat files into a data warehouse environment; working with Agile and Scrum methodologies, and JIRA;  generating reports using Tableau; tuning complex SQL for better performance; transforming data using Python; using Trino to run queries; and of which one (1) year includes working with DevOps.
