Position Summary

Aman at Sea is seeking a dynamic, strategic, and highly experienced Director of Sales to lead our sales efforts across the Asia Pacific region. This senior leadership role is pivotal in driving brand growth, revenue performance, and market share across diverse international markets, in alignment with our global luxury positioning.

As a key ambassador of Aman at Sea, the Director of Sales – APAC will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive regional sales strategy, strengthening awareness across assigned territories, and building long-term, high-value partnerships. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in the luxury travel and hospitality sector, a robust industry network, and a proven ability to lead high-performing teams.

This role requires a strategic thinker and results-driven sales executive who embodies the elegance, discretion, and service ethos synonymous with the Aman brand.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive APAC sales strategy aligned with global business objectives.

  • Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities across established and emerging markets.

  • Monitor market trends, customer insights, and competitor activity to proactively adapt strategies.

  • Establish clear KPIs, revenue targets, and actionable sales plans to achieve financial goals.

  • Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performance, customer-focused sales culture.

  • Cultivate and manage relationships with luxury travel agencies, consortia, tour operators, wholesalers, and key accounts.

  • Collaborate closely with Aman Global Sales and internal stakeholders to maximize revenue opportunities and partner satisfaction.

  • Represent Aman at Sea at trade events, industry conferences, and strategic partner meetings across APAC.

  • Partner with marketing, PR, revenue, and yield management teams to support campaigns, optimize pricing strategies, and manage inventory effectively.

  • Deliver accurate forecasting, reporting, and performance analytics, providing regional insights to inform global strategy and product development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field; MBA preferred.

  • Minimum 7+ years of senior sales experience within a luxury cruise line, travel, or hospitality environment, ideally with APAC scope.

  • Proven track record of driving leisure sales growth and exceeding revenue targets.

  • In-depth understanding of the APAC travel trade landscape, including consortia, key accounts, GSAs, and agency networks.

  • Extensive network of established relationships within the international and APAC luxury travel community.

  • Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing teams in a matrix organization.

  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong analytical, forecasting, budgeting, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently with flexibility to travel (30%+).

  • Multilingual capabilities are advantageous.
