Market Data Manager - Leading Trading Company

Join a major European energy trading company as Market Data Manager, leading strategic procurement of critical market data services supporting energy trading operations across multiple markets. Full remote work from Hungary.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead initiatives for market data services across energy and commodity markets
- Negotiate complex contracts with major data providers (Bloomberg, Reuters, ICE, energy specialists)
- Manage vendor relationships from commercial and contractual perspectives
- Drive cost optimization initiatives while maintaining data quality and coverage
- Own P&L responsibility for market data spend and budget management
- Develop business cases for new data subscriptions and platform investments
Requirements
- 8-10 years market data management experience (energy trading/commodities/financial services)
- Proven track record in procurement and vendor management with strong negotiation skills
- Experience with major data providers (Bloomberg, Reuters, ICE, Platts, etc.)
- Understanding of energy markets from a data procurement perspective
- Fluent English essential
