Inside Sales/Quotes Specialist

David Gooding Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inside Sales Representative/Quotes Specialist to join their team. In this hybrid role, you will specialize in commercial drain products and play a crucial role in the sales process by accurately preparing quotes for customers, ensuring they receive competitive pricing and product information.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide accurate and timely quotes for commercial drain products
• Review customer inquiries and specifications to determine the appropriate product solutions and pricing
• Work closely with suppliers and internal departments to gather necessary information and ensure accurate quotes
• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of commercial drain products, including their features, specifications, and pricing
• Keep up-to-date with market trends, competitor products, and industry developments related to commercial drain products
• Communicate effectively with customers to clarify requirements, provide product information, and address any questions or concerns related to quotes
• Prepare and present quotes in a clear and professional manner, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures
• Follow up with customers to ensure timely feedback on quotes and address any modifications or revisions as required
• Assist the sales team in negotiation and pricing discussions with customers, providing necessary documentation and support
• Maintain accurate records of quotes, sales data, and customer interactions using the company's CRM system
• Collaborate with the operations and logistics teams to ensure seamless order processing and timely product delivery
• Field customer-service phone calls that may pertain to technical questions, pricing questions, or order issues

Skills

• Must have prior Quotes experience
• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably as a Quotes Specialist or Sales Support Specialist within the commercial drain products industry
• In-depth knowledge of commercial drain products, including various types of drains, pipe systems, and related accessories
• Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to accurately interpret customer requirements and prepare competitive quotes
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with customers, suppliers, and internal teams
• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple quotes simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
• Proficient computer skills, including experience with CRM systems, MS Office Suite, and other relevant software
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
• A customer-centric approach with a focus on providing excellent service and building strong relationships with clients
• Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
