Job Title: Data Ops Specialist Job ID: (1541494BR) Position Type: Full-time/ Contract Location: Remote- Prefer Austin TX candidates - US Citizenship/ GC Holder required based on job requirement/ ITAR Regulations or Secret Clearance required.” Role/Responsibilities Role: Data Ops Specialist Primary Skill: Data Stage, Informatica, SQL Location: US - Remote Citizenship: US Citizen or GC holder Job Type: [Full-time/Contract] We are seeking a DataOps Specialist to design, implement, and manage comprehensive dashboards that provide real-time and historical insights into ITSM, DevOps, and quality metrics. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data integration, automation, and monitoring across multiple platforms. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop interactive dashboards for real-time/near-time visualization of key metrics using Power BI or Tableau.
  • Build a structured approach for data profiling, cleansing, and validation using Informatica or similar tools.
  • Ensure reports are accessible to authorized users and provide deep insights into operational performance.
  • Automate and schedule reports to highlight data flow status, anomalies, and incidents.
  • Develop integrations with AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Informatica, and other observability tools.
  • Define and implement step-by-step playbooks for data ingestion, validation, monitoring, and issue resolution.
  • Establish and maintain a centralized repository with playbooks, FAQs, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Collaborate with data source owners to track and resolve data quality issues.

Required Technical Skills:

  • Experience in CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Terraform, Python, PySpark, GitLab, Tableau/Power BI/Cognos.
  • Expertise in data management, validation, and integration across multiple data sources.
  • Strong automation skills in reporting and data visualization.
  • Ability to work with observability and monitoring tools.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience required
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a DevOps or ITSM environment.
  • Familiarity with data governance and security best practices.
