Chief Technology Officer- North Region Department: Corporate/Administrative Employment Type: Full Time Location: Remote- USA Description As the Regional Chief Technology Officer, you will create vision and strategies to lead the transformation of how we use technology to drive business performance, accelerate value creation, and unlock competitive advantage for our clients. This is not a traditional IT leadership role – this is a business aligned, mostly externally focused technology leadership position. The ideal candidate is a dynamic, entrepreneurial thinker with a passion for leveraging technology, product development, and data-driven strategies to reshape client delivery models, innovate service offerings, and navigate the disruptive potential of AI and emerging technologies. Reporting directly to the Regional CEO, the Regional CTO will serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership while developing innovative technology programs that foster organizational effectiveness, client service, and business performance. The CTO is a member of the Regional Executive Team (RET) and peer role to the CFO, COO, CPO, and Presidents in the region. This role reports indirectly to the Trilon Chief Information Officer and is a member of the Trilon IT Leadership Team. In this role, you will ensure alignment and execution of Regional operations with the overall Trilon IT and innovation strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Technology Leadership:

  • Define and execute a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with business goals, client needs, and emerging trends.
  • Lead the organization through a shift in project delivery — evolving from legacy methods to tech-enabled, AI-augmented service models.
  • Drive a transformation roadmap that integrates technology with value creation and measurable business impact.

Product Development & Program Management:

  • Lead the visioning, design, and development of technology products and platforms that enhance client value and experience.
  • Establish and scale a strong product development lifecycle — from user research and requirements through launch and iteration.
  • Build and manage robust program management structures for external-facing solutions.

Business Process Reengineering:

  • Design and implement strategies for business process redesign, embedding technology and automation to improve efficiency, scale, and financial return.
  • Champion the development of business cases to justify investment in technology-driven transformation.

AI & Data Strategy:

  • Guide the organization and clients through the rapidly evolving AI landscape — identifying opportunities for automation, intelligence, and innovation.
  • Collaborate with data leaders to connect analytics, data architecture, and technology in ways that elevate business performance.

Client-Centric Innovation:

  • Maintain a relentless focus on the end user — both in client and internal-facing initiatives.
  • Use design thinking, process mapping, and digital tools to craft seamless experiences and scalable value propositions.

Leadership & Influence:

  • Operate as a highly influential and collaborative leader, able to rally informal teams across functions and geographies.
  • Promote a culture of change, agility, and continuous improvement through technology innovation.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and clients on all matters related to regional strategy and technological evolution.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Proven experience (10+ years) in technology strategy, product development, digital transformation, or platform leadership roles — ideally with client-facing or consulting experience.
  • Deep understanding of AI, data platforms, enterprise architecture, and emerging technologies.
  • Demonstrated success in designing and leading complex cross-functional technology programs.
  • Strong track record of influencing change, building consensus, and creating scalable, repeatable solutions.
  • Experience in developing business cases and ROI models for tech-driven process reengineering.
  • Excellent communication skills — capable of translating technical vision into business value.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to think strategically and act operationally.
  • Highly collaborative leader who builds trust across diverse stakeholders.
  • Adept at forming and leading informal teams to drive outcomes.
  • Fluent in agile methodologies, product design thinking, and program execution.
  • Financial acumen and commercial orientation — capable of aligning technology investment with business growth.
