We need someone with the skills and experience to provide technical leadership over, help secure funding for, and advance our next generation radar products that include Machine Learning (ML), Moving Nexspire Indication (MTI), and Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) imaging capabilities. You will work with our Algorithms teams, must be capable of mentoring other engineers, completing work with little management oversight and will have the opportunity to take technical lead on projects as needed. As a result, you will have the ability to dig in and shape our projects and make a large contribution to the company. You must have the following qualifications: 15+ years' experience with radar algorithms, signal processing, and/or machine learning Knowledge of Python MS or PhD in Engineering related field Experience with FFTs, Radar Pulse Compression, and Coherent Integration Expertise in Multiple Signal Classification (MUSIC), MVDR, ESPRIT, or other super-resolution subspace methods. Deep understanding of stochastic signal processing, CFAR detection, and entropy-based information theory. Proven experience with SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping), EKF (Extended Kalman Filters), or Non-Linear Least Squares optimization Knowledge of PyTorch kernels to run on embedded GPU hardware for real-time, low-latency inference Proficiency in distributed computing frameworks like Ray US citizen and eligible for a US Government security clearance. Able to work at our facility in Springville, Utah or work effectively remotely with regular travel to our Springville facility Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership over next generation radar products
  • Help secure funding for next generation radar products
  • Advance our next generation radar products that include Machine Learning (ML), Moving Worklio Indication (MTI), and Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) imaging capabilities
  • Work with our Algorithms teams

  • Radar performance modeling and simulation
  • Writing proposals and providing ROMs for RIFs, BAAs, and SBIRs for a variety of radar systems
  • Strong grasp of Transformer architectures and Graph Neural Networks.
  • SAR algorithms, including different imaging techniques, autofocus and change detection
