General Dynamics Mission Systems is a leader in high technology solutions for defense and scientific arenas. They are seeking an Entry Level Software Engineer to be part of a team responsible for designing and developing software for the U.S. Navy's platforms.
Responsibilities
- As a Software Engineer for the Common Weapon Launcher and Multi-Tube Weapon Simulator, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for designing and developing software supporting the U.S. Navy's platforms within the Tactical
Skills
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science/Engineering fields
- Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire
- Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
- Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required
- Linux experience preferred
- Experience with Linux and Bash
- Networking/Networking Switches
- Experience with Java
- Experience with C/C++
- Experience with React and Typescript
