[Remote] Payroll Clerk

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Northwest Cascade, home of Honey Bucket, is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to support their Payroll Team. This entry-level remote position involves managing payroll data, assisting with payroll billings, and providing administrative support to the team.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure new hire onboarding is completed accurately in Paylocity
  • Maintain and audit employee payroll data
  • Assist with payroll billings and reporting
  • Respond to Verifications of Employment (VOEs)
  • Support benefits administration tasks
  • Run and distribute recurring payroll reports
  • Provide administrative support to the Payroll Team
  • Enter and review employee changes in Paylocity
  • Respond to employee and manager inquiries
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned

Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills (formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, data organization)
  • Team player willing to handle administrative tasks
  • Curious mindset—asks questions and wants to understand the 'why'
  • Organized, reliable, and process-driven
  • Payroll and/or Paylocity experience is a plus
