Sales Executive- Service Sales (PLM or Data Mgt.)

  • More account mgt./upselling than hunting.
  • Covering multiple accounts.
  • Selling services like implementation, upgrades, professional services, engineering consulting, training services.
  • Will work on named enterprise accounts.
  • Territory for travel (about 25%)- can live anywhere east of the Mississippi. (TN, NC, SC preferences)
  • Remote plus the 25% travel.

Data Management and/or PLM (product lifecycle mgt.) experience as a preferred qualification. If they do not have the PTC experience, the Data Management/PLM would be great! Sales Executive - Service Sales The position is remote in the Midwest or Eastern United States. $80K PLUS COMMISSION (50/50 or (40/60 split) so OTE $160-200K+ The Sales Executive – Service Sales will play a vital role in supporting COMPANY’s commitment to delivering comprehensive solutions by emphasizing the services that enhance and optimize software deployments. This role centers on identifying opportunities to provide consulting, training, implementation, and support services that drive customer success and maximize the value of their software investments. This role is essential to helping customers maximize the potential of their software investments while contributing to COMPANY’s reputation for delivering exceptional service solutions. We are seeking a motivated, customer-focused professional who excels at identifying service needs, building strong relationships, and positioning COMPANY as a trusted partner for ongoing business improvement. The ideal candidate will have a consultative sales approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored service solutions.

Qualifications

An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered.

  • Associates or a Bachelor degree in Business or related field is preferred.
  • 3-5+ years services sales!
  • Must be enthusiastic, outgoing, confident, results-oriented, and a self-starter.
  • Must be able to process information gathered quickly and effectively to overcome objections.
  • Must have problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills, presentation skills, and professionalism.
  • Must be able to understand and pass training courses related to the technology, products, and services COMPANY offers to the client.
  • Demonstrated a successful track record working with sales organizations to achieve and exceed their sales goals
  • Excellent computer skills and knowledge of NetSuite is preferred.
  • Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Skilled in coordinating and managing internal resources effectively.
  • Must have ability to work with time-sensitive deadlines, multi-task, and meet the project and corporate goals while working in stressful situations.
  • Must possess good organizational skills, be able to work independently with focus and discipline to achieve the customer and company goals.
  • Must be able to travel within the assigned territory building relationships, selling opportunities, and attend events after business hours as required.
  • Ability to perform consistently with high collaboration and output.
