Role and Responsibilities: The Front Desk Support role is vital in providing excellent customer service to USPS customers and ensuring smooth operations within the office. You will be the first point of contact for visitors and clients, handling inquiries and ensuring that they are directed to the appropriate department.

  • Greet and assist customers and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate department or personnel.
  • Assist in scheduling appointments and managing office calendars.
  • Ensure that all front desk areas are organized and presentable at all times.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail and packages efficiently.
  • Handle customer inquiries, providing accurate information and resolving issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth office operations. Required Skills and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of experience in a customer service or front desk role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic office equipment. Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with postal services or in a similar environment.
  • Familiarity with office management software.
