Outpatient Obstetric Nurse - Academic Medical Center 2 Years of RN Experience Strongly Preferred 1 Year of OB Experience Preferred Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our busy academic medical center's obstetrical clinic. This role focuses on providing comprehensive outpatient obstetric care to low, medium, and high-risk patients in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional communication skills and a commitment to enhancing patient care and experience Qualifications: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. BLS certification required; additional certifications (e.g., ACLS, NRP) preferred. EPIC experience strongly preferred. OB/GYN nursing experience and strong IV skills are a plus. 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience is a plus, ideally in an outpatient or ambulatory setting. Excellent skills in communication, critical thinking, and time management. Ability to multitask and provide quality care in a fast-paced environment. Accountable for interpreting the plan of medical care, assessment of patients' clinical decision-making regarding nursing care, assuring nursing care is provided in a safe and competent manner, providing individualized nursing care, and evaluating nursing care for groups of patients. Does this position require Patient Care? Yes Essential Functions Maintain accurate, detailed reports, and records. Administer medications to patients and monitor patients for reactions or side effects. Record patients' medical information and vital signs. Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions. Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans. Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions.

Qualifications
