Job Description

As a Chat Moderator, you'll be responsible for ensuring that our Discord server remains a safe, respectful, and engaging space for our users. This part-time, remote position offers flexibility and the opportunity to work with a dynamic team. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Moderating the chat of our official Discord server, including deleting messages that violate our community guidelines
• Banning users who repeatedly break our rules and disrupt the community
• Muting users who have violated our rules, to prevent further disruption
• Investigating reports from users about potential rule violations
• Collaborating with our team to develop and implement community guidelines and policies
• Providing excellent customer service and support to our users
• Staying up-to-date with our community guidelines and policies to ensure a positive user experience

Pay and Benefits

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• To be at least 18 years old
• A High School Diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
• Familiarity with Discord and online community management
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:

• Experience working in a customer-facing role or as a community manager
• Familiarity with arenaflex's products and services
• Knowledge of online community management best practices
• Experience with conflict resolution and mediation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
