Lead Cloud Developer Location: 212 Pittsford-Victor Road, Pittsford, NY, 14534, US 715 Peachtree Street, N.E., Atlanta, GA, 30308, US (Hybrid) Full-time Hybrid Job Description: As a Lead Cloud Developer at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation and technical excellence within our Cloud Development team. You will lead the design, development, and deployment of high-performance, scalable, and reliable cloud-based solutions. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining and advancing our position at the forefront of cloud technology. You will report directly to our Cloud Engineering Manager, and you'll work out of our Pittsford, N,Y location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the overall health of our cloud-based managed service, develop key automation tools for our customers, and create availability and health metrics while monitoring performance and performing regular system maintenance. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Build, scale, and secure the underlying AWS infrastructure that hosts Lenel On-Guard. Manage OS and collaborate with software developers, as well as end-users to diagnose issues. Management of infrastructure services, application deployments, cloud services, and monitoring. Provide visibility into business and systems performance metrics. Work closely with Lenel/S2 and AWS teams to maintain, manage, and enhance the platform. Expand our configuration management infrastructure to enable rapid deployment of new services. Work with Information/Cyber Security to perform security audits and proactively make recommendations/improvements. Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation. Develop engineering and automated deployments for IaaS system configurations. Collaborate with engineers both internal and external to our team to troubleshoot and refine documented procedures. Implement engineering changes to the system as required. Responsible for integrating and testing software and/or hardware components required by customers. US PERSON REQUIREMENT Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization. YOU MUST HAVE 8+ years of automation tooling and scripting/programming experience, such as CI/CD Pipelines, Ansible, PHP, Python, PowerShell, Visual Basic, .Net, Ruby, Java, C, and C# (PowerShell, Python, and C# most preferred). 6+ years of experience working with third-party and supporting internal/third-party RESTful web services and other APIs and SOAP-based APIs. 3+ years of experience in the DevOps work streams using infrastructure-as-code and automation software such as Ansible, Chef, or AWS SSM. 3+ years of experience with configuring, securing, patching, and managing Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019, and Hyper-V (or VMware). 3+ years of experience with optimizing relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL). WE VALUE Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. 3+ years of experience with Networking, or exposure to basic concepts and troubleshooting connectivity issues. 3+ years of experience with Linux or Windows systems administration and/or related development. 3+ years of understanding of systems development lifecycle from conception to delivery. 2+ years of experience administering/operating Lenel On-Guard 7.x, 8.x. 2+ years of experience using, or some exposure to Amazon Web Services (S3, EC2, VPC, etc.). Proven experience creating documentation for production systems. Proven ability to troubleshoot and identify the root cause of issues. Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills. Experience in a 24/7 online environment. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The annual base salary range for this position in the state of New York is .
