Key Responsibilities

As a Full Stack Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Understanding the business and technical aspects of Dataworks, our cutting-edge data platform.
• Building tools, stages, and pipelines to enable teams to easily and efficiently analyze data, build models, and drive business decisions.
• Scaling from PC-scale to cluster-scale issues, both in terms of infrastructure and problem-solving strategy.
• Collaborating across teams to drive the creation of data-driven business insights that deliver high-value solutions.
• Communicating complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders, working with diverse teams and disciplines.
• Establishing best practices for future reuse, creating open, reusable examples, layouts, and code bases.
• Partnering with senior technologists from across the organization and beyond to drive collaborations and ensure smooth integrations with downstream business systems.

Essential Qualifications

* Strong technical foundation in software engineering, programming, database frameworks, and distributed systems.

• Deep understanding of the transportation and logistics space, with the ability to identify high-value opportunities and design approaches that capture and create value.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, with a strong understanding of its capabilities and limitations.
• Knowledge of and experience with building CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to create and operationalize capacities and solutions, including under high-volume streaming circumstances.
• Involved development skills, with the ability to work at the code level and help troubleshoot complex issues.
• Proven ability to deliver technical projects, often working under tight deadlines to deliver value.
• A "designing" mindset, with the ability to make fast, informed decisions to improve performance and accelerate progress.
• Comfort working with distributed teams on code-based expectations, using version control frameworks and code reviews.
• DevOps: strong knowledge of coding, pre-arranging, database, yaml, json, and IaC (Terraform).

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with popular languages and tools, including: + Spark (Scala and PySpark), HDFS, Kafka, and other high-volume data tools. + SQL and NoSQL storage tools, such as MySQL, Postgres, Cassandra, MongoDB, and ElasticSearch. + Pandas, Scikit-Learn, Matplotlib, TensorFlow, Jupyter, and other Python data tools.
