Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Engaging customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services, resolving customer issues, and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Modeling and sharing customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience, including interpersonal habits and arenaflex service traits.
  • Providing customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service, recommending items for sale, and registering customer purchases on assigned cash registers.
  • Recommending trade-up and/or companion items, processing voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed, and maintaining a clean and well-merchandised store environment.
  • Implementing Company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss, ensuring compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
  • Constructing and maintaining displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise, and completing resets and revisions as directed.
  • Assisting with separation of food items, product placement, and stock rotation, using the first in, first out method and restocking outs.
  • Providing customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print, and creative machine, and suggestive selling of promotional photo products.
  • Assisting with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring a clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance.
  • Complying with all company policies and procedures, maintaining respectful relationships with coworkers, and completing special assignments and other tasks as assigned.

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or specialized training preferred.

  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in a retail or customer-facing role, preferably in a pharmacy or healthcare setting.

  • Knowledge of store systems and store equipment, including cash registers and inventory management software.
  • Experience with customer service software and technology, such as digital passport photo service and creative machine.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
