Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Customer Business Lead – Snack Food Sales and Marketing for Costco, you will be responsible for:

  • Direct selling responsibility for Cookie/Cracker, Confections, and Bars portfolios for multiple Costco regions
  • Owning customer relationships, working in partnership with them and internal cross-functional counterparts to define and execute a winning growth strategy for both arenaflex and the customer
  • Driving customer relationships across functions, including Buyers, replenishment, shopper marketing, and ecommerce
  • Developing, negotiating, and executing in-year and long-term strategies with Costco regional buyers
  • Owning revenue planning, trade planning, sales forecasting, and the execution of commercial strategies to deliver annual objectives
  • Influencing continuous product development by collaborating with internal cross-functional business teams, including sales planning, category development, RGM, supply chain, ecommerce, shopper marketing, and insights
  • Analyzing syndicated data, member data, research, and industry trends to create business cases for product and execution solutions that lead the future
  • Owning the P&L to ensure the delivery of arenaflex financial goals and market share gains
  • Actively ensuring precision and consistency with monthly, quarterly, annual internal & external deliverables

  • Demonstrating a P&L mindset while delivering results to support Customer and arenaflex business metrics
  • Advancing the business with measures that best serve the Club Channel and broader arenaflex business
  • A Total-Team attitude, understanding multiple customers, go-to market strategies, structures, and business practices
  • Negotiating and influencing to support delivery of business critical KPIs and strategies

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in customer-facing CPG sales role with proven selling/negotiating experience; HQ Selling experience a plus
  • Understanding of product commercialization processes
  • Ability to leverage customer-specific data, including syndicated, Costco IRI, and Consumer Research, to drive business results
  • Customer focus and attention to detail
  • Experience with customer trade negotiations
  • Understanding and driving action through the lens of a customer P&L

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary range for this position is $134,200 to $184,450, depending on experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility of overachievement based on performance and company results. arenaflex offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, wellness and family support programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education-related programs, paid holidays, and vacation time.
