Job Summary We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as seasonal team members. As a seasonal team member, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of departments, including art, crafts, custom frames, fabrics, floral, and hobbies. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining store displays, and supporting the overall operations of the store.

Key Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner. Maintain store displays, including restocking shelves, facing merchandise, and ensuring that the store is clean and organized. Support the overall operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management. Work effectively as part of a team to achieve sales goals, customer satisfaction, and store objectives. Participate in visual merchandising, including setting up displays and ensuring that the store is visually appealing. Develop knowledge of products and services, including features, benefits, and applications. Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and customer satisfaction objectives.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications Must be at least 16 years old. Must be available to work some nights and weekends, including evenings and holidays. Must be mature and self-motivated, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in the craft or hobby field is preferred, but not necessary. Experience in customer service, sales, or retail is an asset. Knowledge of art, crafts, or hobbies is an asset.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines. Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including: Starting seasonal range: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour. Store Hours Our store hours are: Monday through Saturday: 9 am to 8 pm. Sunday: Closed.
