Data Warehouse Developer with Oracle, DB2, SQL Server - $55 CTC - REMOTE (WI Resident/MUST Relocate to Wisconsin)

Location Requirement: POSTING IS FOR WISCONSIN BASED CANDIDATES ONLY (OR THOSE WILLING TO RELOCATE TO WISCONSIN WITHIN 30 DAYS OF THE START DATE). ALL WORK MUST BE DONE IN WISCONSIN Onsite, hybrid or remote: Candidate MUST be a WI resident or willing to relocate to WI prior to starting the role at their own expense. 90-100% remote but can require staff to come onsite as necessary with sufficient notice. Onsite work is not likely, but candidate should be prepared to come onsite if required. This role is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing ETL solutions using Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC). This role requires strong hands-on experience with Data Integration (DI), Taskflows, Mappings, parameter files, and reusable transformations to build scalable, secure, and high-performing data pipelines. The candidate will manage metadata, ensure data accuracy and integrity, and drive continuous optimization within the IDMC and data warehouse environment. The individual will collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional IT teams to translate functional requirements into well-architected IDMC-based data integration solutions. Responsibilities include developing ETL mapping specifications, performance tuning, ensuring data security compliance, and supporting the migration, enhancement, and maintenance ofIDMC workflows aligned with enterprise data warehousing best practices. Typically requires 4 to 5 years of relevant real time experience, including at least 3+ years of hands-on experience with Informatica IDMC. A strong foundation in data warehousing concepts, data integration methodologies, and solution delivery under general supervision with independent judgment is essential for this role. Ideal candidate will have skills and experience in the following areas:

  • Knowledge in data warehouse best practice standards
  • Strong experience in PowerCenter to IDMC migration.
  • Experience in design, development, and testing in IDMC.
  • Proficient in writing and analyzing complex SQL queries in Oracle, DB2, SQL Server.
  • Hands-on experience using Control-M for job scheduling and workflow automation.
  • Moderate skills working with relational and dimensional data models
  • Moderate skills working with slowly changing dimensions
  • Proven ability to diagnose and remediate ETL and DB Query performance bottlenecks.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including facilitation of meetings with customers and technical staff
  • Knowledge and skills in the project development life cycle process (i.e., planning, analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation, support)
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills in requirements gathering
  • Effective interpersonal relations skills, ability to effectively collaborate with others and work as part of a team
  • Skills in navigating a large organization in order to accomplish results
  • Ability to initiate and follow through on complex projects of both short- and long-term duration
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently, assume responsibility for job development and training, researching and resolving questions and problems, requesting supervisor input and keeping supervisor informed
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite, MS Visio, MS Outlook, and Jira

Required Skills:

  • Moderate experience in data warehousing process design, development, performance & tuning using the Informatica data warehousing tool suite
  • Developing skills in the architecture of data warehouse and data integration strategies and solutions
  • Knowledge in relational database technologies, e.g. Oracle, DB2, SQL Server
  • Strong data management and data analysis using SQL
  • Must have strong hands-on experience with Informatica IDMC.
