Experienced Chat Moderator – Remote Community Management Position

Job Responsibilities
As a Chat Moderator at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for maintaining a positive and respectful community on our Discord server. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Deleting messages that violate our community guidelines
- Banning users with multiple and repeat rule violations
- Muting users who have broken our rules
- Investigating reports from users about potential rule violations
- Collaborating with our team to develop and implement community guidelines and policies
- Providing excellent customer service and support to our community members
- Staying up-to-date with our community guidelines and policies to ensure a positive user experience
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- To be at least 18 years old
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Familiarity with Discord and online community management
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial:
- Experience as a moderator or administrator on a Discord server or other online community
- Knowledge of community management principles and best practices
- Familiarity with arenaflex's services and mission
- Experience with computer programming or related fields
