Solution Consultant/Architect HR Systems (Remote)

We are actively seeking qualified candidates for the following position for our client, who is an industry leader: POSITION: Solution Consultant/Architect – HR Systems(Remote) DEPARTMENT: Technology REPORTS TO: VP, Corporate Systems THE ROLE

  • Serve as strategic partners between business leadership and technology teams, helping define system roadmaps, evaluate enterprise platforms, and guide implementation of key business systems.
  • Partner closely with senior stakeholders to understand operational needs, translate those needs into scalable technology solutions, and lead initiatives that improve business processes through modern enterprise platforms.
  • Strong candidates are individuals who combine deep functional expertise in HR systems with the ability to lead technology strategy and enterprise system initiatives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Business Systems Strategy

  • Partner with business stakeholders to define assess technology needs and define roadmaps that support business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through enterprise platforms and system enhancements.
  • Evaluate and recommend technologies that support evolving business processes.

Enterprise System Leadership

  • Lead evaluation, selection, and implementation of HR/Legal systems across Workday HCM, 3rd party payroll providers (UKG/ADP) and other HR technology needs.
  • Guide implementation partners and internal teams during large system deployments.
  • Ensure enterprise platforms support scalable and integrated business operations.

Business Process Expertise

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on key business workflows within Finance/Procurement or HR domains.
  • Translating business requirements into system capabilities and implementation strategies
  • Help ensure enterprise systems align with real-world operational needs.

HR Technology

  • HRIS platforms
  • Global HCM implementations
  • Employee lifecycle systems
  • Payroll systems
  • Performance management and workforce technology

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Lead discussions with directors, vice presidents, and business partners regarding enterprise system strategy.
  • Translate complex technical topics into clear business discussions.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across business and technology teams.

Implementation Oversight

  • Partner with implementation partners to guide large-scale system implementations from planning through deployment.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams, implementation partners, and vendors.
  • Ensure successful adoption of new enterprise technologies.

  • 8+ years of experience working with enterprise business systems or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience leading enterprise system implementations or platform evaluations.
  • Strong knowledge of business processes within Finance/Procurement or HR domains
  • Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders across business and technology organizations.
  • Experience working with enterprise platforms such as ERP or HCM systems.

Domain-Specific Experience HR Technology Role

  • Strong experience with Workday, architecting and design solutions
  • Experience implementing or supporting multiple Workday modules.
  • Experience supporting global HR organizations.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working in large enterprise environments.
  • Experience leading cross-functional transformation initiatives.
  • Experience working with global organizations and multi-location operations.
