We are seeking an experienced and accomplished Senior Account Manager within the Machine Vision sector that will be responsible for the T&L (Transportation & Logistics) and Retail verticals (Strategic Accounts). The successful candidate will be responsible for strategically expanding our customer base, managing key accounts, and driving sales growth for our cutting-edge machine vision products. If you have a wealth of experience in complex sales environments, a deep understanding of machine vision and/or automation technologies, and a passion for exceeding targets, we want to hear from you. This remote role must reside in the US, near a major metro airport. Ideal states include Arkansas, New Jersey, Texas, Virginia, Georgia, Massachusetts and New York. 50% + travel.

Responsibilities

  • Build and strengthen relationships with key clients, understanding their evolving business needs, and providing strategic solutions using our machine vision products.
  • Develop and execute sophisticated sales strategies tailored to high-value accounts, ensuring alignment with broader company goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to navigate complex sales cycles, utilizing your experience to anticipate challenges and proactively address them.
  • Develop comprehensive account plans for key clients, outlining long-term objectives and strategies for sustained growth.
  • Maintain a leadership position in understanding industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities within the machine vision sector.
  • Leverage your market insights to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of innovation.
  • Serve as the primary executive-level point of contact for key clients, ensuring their needs are not only met but exceeded.
  • Collaborate closely with technical support and customer service teams to enhance overall customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Requirements

  • Bachelors or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of B2B technical sales experience in machine vision and/or fixed industrial scanning technology

  • Must have experience selling into Retail and Transportation & Logistics verticals
  • Must reside in the US, near a major metro airport.
  • ~ 50% + travel to be expected.
