This a Full Remote job, the offer is available from: California (USA) Keish Environmental Is Hiring: Environmental Compliance Auditor Keish Environmental is seeking a self-motivated, enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Environmental Compliance Auditor. This position works alongside our clients, both in government and the private industry, to oversee all aspects of regulatory environmental and stormwater compliance on projects.

About the Role

In this role, the Environmental Compliance Auditor will be responsible for conducting forensic analyses of environmental compliance documents and providing management and oversight to ensure compliance with environmental commitments, including identifying and resolving compliance documentation issues, and ensuring regulatory requirements are met. You will Conduct inspection of environmental compliance reports and documentation, evaluate environmental documents, permits and other regulatory approvals, provide compliance advice, review and prepare reports and coordinate with relevant functional units to ensure compliance. What You Bring

  • At least 5 years of experience in performing audits and inspections, environmental compliance, construction compliance, or a related field.
  • Strong environmental background with experience in construction compliance in the field.
  • Familiarity with database management applications, including SharePoint.
  • Solid understanding of NEPA, CEQA, and federal and state permitting requirements.
  • Able to demonstrate a high level of organizational ability
  • Experience conducting environmental and stormwater compliance trainings.
  • Ability to respond to project needs on a short notice, pivoting and reprioritizing to meet changing program needs and deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong knowledge of the California State Water Board permitting process and water quality regulations and working with a wide range of regulatory agencies.
  • Experience with securing special authorization with the United States Forest Service.
  • Knowledge of Tunnel Design and potential implications on permitting.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Engineering (with an emphasis on water resources and/or landscape construction). Equivalent professional experience is also considered.
  • Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office, SharePoint and must be willing to learn custom software systems
