  • This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to defining Twilio’s strategic roadmap for security automation and AI integration.
  • You will play a key part in balancing immediate business impacts with long-term technical feasibility, scalability, and strategic vision.
  • You will assume ownership and responsibility for the ongoing operational health of all automation and AI-driven systems developed by the team.
  • This includes ensuring these systems consistently meet stringent reliability and performance requirements, adhering to defined Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • You will provide crucial support for on-call operations, addressing any issues that arise with the tools, pipelines, and AI models managed by the team.
  • A commitment to knowledge sharing is essential; you will be responsible for documenting and disseminating information through clear, comprehensive technical documentation covering processes, procedures, AI models, and orchestration systems.
  • Continuous learning is paramount; you will stay abreast of the latest emerging trends and advancements in security automation, data orchestration, and AI/LLMs, actively applying this knowledge to Twilio’s security operations to drive ongoing innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
  • This role is ideal for a proactive and innovative engineer who thrives in a dynamic, remote-first environment and is passionate about leveraging technology to solve complex security challenges at scale.
