We’d welcome the opportunity to meet you. KUNGFU.AI is seeking a visionary Head of AI Project Management to guide and elevate our project management practice. Reporting to the COO, this individual will oversee all projects, provide strategic guidance, and mentor our team of project managers to ensure delivery excellence. The Head of AI Project Management will play a critical role in scaling our operations as we take on increasingly complex and high-stakes AI projects. Here's what you'll be doing: - Providing coaching, training, and professional growth opportunities for project managers to build a high-performing, cohesive team - Identifying and attracting top-tier project management talent to support company growthCultivating a collaborative, supportive, and growth-oriented culture that reflects our company values - Overseeing resource allocation and utilization of the PM team to ensure projects are adequately staffed and delivered on time - Overseeing the successful execution of all client projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards - Actively managing project work for up to 50% of your time. You’ll lead the PM discipline by example and work together to reinforce and improve the proper implementation of processes and artifacts - Developing and maintaining processes for tracking project progress, addressing risks, and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction - Acting as the primary escalation point for project issues, resolving obstacles effectively and strategically - Designing and implementing standardized project management methodologies, tools, and templates to ensure consistency and efficiency - Piloting new processes on live projects, evaluating effectiveness, and propagating successful concepts throughout the PM department - Establishing KPIs to measure project success and team performance, delivering actionable insights to leadership - Working closely with the COO, engineering, strategy, finance, and delivery teams to align project management strategies with company objectives - Collaborating with business development and client partners to scope projects, create proposals, and manage client expectations during pre-sales engagements - Acting as a senior point of contact for clients, fostering trust and ensuring alignment on project goalsBuilding the infrastructure, processes, and team capabilities needed to manage larger, more complex projects as the company scales - Contributing to strategic initiatives by providing insights into delivery capabilities and operational strengths What we're looking for: - Someone that’s built an impressive career in project management, including leadership roles overseeing complex, high-impact projects, preferably in consulting or technology. Ideal candidates have direct experience managing AI/ML projects or fully custom, bespoke software development projects - A people person with a proven ability to mentor, develop, and inspire teams - Plenty of experience working in a matrixed consulting environment - You’re a project management methodology and tooling pro - A clear and exceptional communicator.
