A Day in the Role

As a Remote Healthcare Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, your primary responsibility will be to process various medical documents, including Independent Medical Reviews and insurance intake forms. You will work closely with our team to ensure that all questions are addressed, documented, and cases are returned in a timely fashion. Your duties will include:

• Extracting data from medical documents and entering it into our electronic database via Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Word
• Working independently and in partnership with other team members to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow
• Utilizing critical thinking skills to determine next steps and reaching out to clients via phone to obtain missing information
• Providing exceptional customer service and client coordination over the phone
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring data quality and integrity

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

• At least 1 year of remote work experience in data entry, preferably in the healthcare or insurance industry
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to complete assessments
• Reliable high-speed internet and a personal computer or laptop (no Chromebooks)
• Experience working in a metrics-based environment, with a strong focus on meeting quotas and deadlines
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote setting
