Job Summary
As a Full Stack Custom Circuits Design Engineer at arenaflex, you will be responsible for designing and developing custom circuits that meet the needs of our cutting-edge products. You will work closely with our power group, PD, and designers to define requirements and specifications, and perform plan, analysis, modeling, and simulation, circuit-level design, schematic capture, spice simulation/DC analysis, and silicon validation. Your expertise will be essential in creating high-quality designs that meet the highest standards of performance and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop custom circuits to improve chip power efficiency
- Work with power group, PD, and designers to define requirements and specifications
- Perform plan, analysis, modeling, and simulation, circuit-level design, schematic capture, spice simulation/DC analysis, and silicon validation
- Collaborate with format group to complete the design and administer the design quality
- Create and drive circuit procedure to achieve the highest design quality metrics
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports
- Participate in design reviews and provide feedback to improve design quality
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- At least 3 years of relevant industry experience in custom circuit design
- Strong understanding of deep submicron device physics, leakage mechanisms, technology interactions with device behavior
- Profound knowledge of device noise sources (1/f, thermal), external noise sources (supply, jitter), and their impact on high accuracy circuit
- Experience in leading investigations during silicon debug, assembly, and analyzing data; and using scripting to support effective treatment of ATE data
- Familiarity with opposing message check and behavior models for opposing message blocks
- Capability in scripting languages (Python/Perl or others) and computer-aided design automation tools
- Knowledge of industry-standard circuit and design tools
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Experience in AI accelerators, SRAM, non-volatile memories, weak/strong inversion circuits, super low power amplifiers, DC/DC converters, analog on-chip sensors, fast timing, time-to-digital converters (TDCs)
- Strong understanding of device noise sources (1/f, thermal), external noise sources (supply, jitter), and their impact on high accuracy circuit
- Experience in leading investigations during silicon debug, assembly, and analyzing data; and using scripting to support effective treatment of ATE data
- Familiarity with opposing message check and behavior models for opposing message blocks
- Capability in scripting languages (Python/Perl or others) and computer-aided design automation tools
- Knowledge of industry-standard circuit and design tools
