Job Summary

As a Customer Experience Banker Float, you'll be responsible for retaining and growing consumer and business customer relationships by proactively identifying financial goals and needs, recommending appropriate deposit, loan, and other banking products and services. You'll also serve as a concierge for walk-in customers, processing transactions accurately and efficiently while providing exemplary customer service. Your strong comfort level with technology and ability to educate customers on how to optimize their use of bank technology will be essential in helping them bank more conveniently and better manage their money.

Key Responsibilities

* Engage in proactive sales and customer service activities, including teller transactions

  • Retain and grow consumer and business customer relationships by proactively identifying financial goals and needs and recommending appropriate deposit, loan, and other banking products and services
  • Serve as a concierge for walk-in customers, processing transactions accurately and efficiently while providing exemplary customer service
  • Effectively resolve customer issues and provide solutions that meet their needs
  • Strong comfort level with technology and educate customers on how to optimize their use of bank technology (online, mobile, and ATM banking)
  • Proficient in consumer deposit products and able to recommend and sell these products to customers
  • Proactively identify opportunities to grow customer relationships through a disciplined sales process, new customer follow-up program, outbound calling, and sourcing referrals from customers and partners
  • Educate and refer customers to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships and build strong internal partnerships pursuant to OCR guidelines
  • Adhere to all operational, security, risk, and regulatory related policies and procedures
  • Demonstrate acumen in sales, customer service, relationship management, banking, investments, business banking, communication, and presentation

Essential Qualifications

* High School Diploma or GED and minimum of 1 year customer service or military service in an administration, contracting, civil affairs, or similar role

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 1 year of banking experience
  • Cash handling skills
  • Comfort with technology such as mobile services and online banking services

Preferred Qualifications

* 2+ years of banking experience

  • Strong sales and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Environment

As a Customer Experience Banker Float, you'll be part of our Branch Resource Team, supporting a defined group of branches in our Branch Network. You'll travel between your assigned branches and the work location may change daily. You must have access to reliable transportation to facilitate working in multiple branches.
