Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our remote team. As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing personalized support to our clients' customers, handling inbound calls, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Answering inbound calls and assisting customers with specific requests and inquiries
  • Capturing information and entering data into our customer service database in a timely manner
  • Operating our customer service database and reading relevant call-handling instructions
  • Relaying messages and routing calls to the appropriate resources
  • Following up on calls with clerical duties and liaising with other departments
  • Providing personalized customer service at the highest level, dedicating your work time to delivering exceptional results

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • Reliable internet connection and attendance
  • Pleasant and friendly mannerisms, with a sound knowledge of telephone etiquette
  • Basic computer navigation skills
  • Quick and correct typing – ability to create grammatically correct responses without spelling errors
  • Positive attitude and a passion for learning
  • Goal-oriented and emphasizes accountability for delivering results

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous call center experience

  • Previous customer service experience
  • Utilities customer service experience
  • Medical office setting customer service experience

Training and Development

As a new hire, you'll participate in a comprehensive training program that will equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to succeed in this role. Our training program includes:

  • 2 weeks of remote training, conducted online and on weekends
  • Training on our customer service database and call-handling procedures
  • Ongoing coaching and support to ensure your success

Work Schedule and Requirements

As a remote Customer Service Representative, you'll work a 40-hour week, with shifts covering 7AM to 10PM Central Time. Your work schedule will be discussed during your live group interview with the hiring manager. You'll be required to work 4 weekdays and 1 Saturday or 1 Sunday, with weekends being mandatory.
