Job Overview and Key Responsibilities

The purpose of this program is to build a diverse and values-driven leadership pipeline for arenaflex. As an MBA Leadership Development Program professional, you will play a critical role in driving business growth, improving customer experiences, and developing innovative strategies to stay ahead of the competition. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Maximizing profitability by aligning capacity with demand through the strategic deployment of aircraft and development of new city and route opportunities.
  • Investigating competitors' pricing actions, initiating sales and other promotions to maintain market share, and analyzing the complexities of airline consumer behavior to devise creative strategies for capturing additional revenue.
  • Leveraging data to develop promotion and channel strategies to drive incremental passenger revenue or improve values-led communication strategies with customers.
  • Improving the travel experience for arenaflex's corporate clients by analyzing the financial contribution of incentive programs and developing new sales strategies to generate incremental revenue.
  • Developing recommendations for process improvements for reservations centers, call-handling, and segmentation to improve customer service, employee engagement, and maximize cost efficiencies.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve the overall customer experience and drive business growth.

Program Structure

The MBA Leadership Development Program is a two-year rotational program, with the first year spent in Network Planning or Revenue Management and the second year spent in Marketing, Sales, Reservations, or Customer Experience. This program is designed to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the airline industry and the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed as a future leader.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Current MBA student with a planned graduation date by the Summer of 2025.
  • At least three years of post-undergraduate work experience in a dynamic, professional environment or relevant military experience.
  • Ability to work onsite in our Atlanta, GA office for the duration of the program.
  • Curiosity about the airline industry and a desire to learn and grow.
  • Analytical and creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box.
  • Consistent track record of excellence, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to achieving results.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, matrix-team environment, with strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ideal candidates will have strong analytical, leadership, written, and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to prioritize safety and security.

  • Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency, and is at least 18 years of age with authorization to work in the United States.
