About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our remote team, responsible for providing financial reporting and analysis support to our business leaders. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and improvement by providing accurate and timely financial information. You will work closely with our finance team to develop and implement financial processes and procedures, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

* Plan and prepare journal entries and monthly account reconciliations for specific areas of the general ledger

• Be a key owner of the monthly close cycle for arenaflex and external entities for explicitly assigned functional areas
• Ensure financial records are maintained for Management and GAAP Combined financial statements using accepted methodologies
• Assist in providing expectations to external auditors on annual reviews and quarterly surveys
• Communicate with FP&A, functional partners, and external parties regarding significant accounting matters
• Conduct special investigations and projects to further our cycle improvement initiatives

• Sharp business acumen and process-oriented
• Data-focused and unafraid to go down to the lowest level of detail for truth and high level of accuracy
• Excellent communication, oral, and written skills, including strong proficiency in English
• Strong analytical and time management skills
• 2+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, PCAOB principles, SOX/internal controls
• Experience with NetSuite, Coupa, GSuite preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA certification an asset
• Strong spreadsheet skills, with the ability to manage and process large amounts of data
