At the heart of our success is our full-service contact center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, which provides top-notch inbound and outbound support to our customers.

The Role

We're looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As a key member of our contact center team, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences through timely and effective communication. Your primary goal will be to ensure that every customer interaction is positive, informative, and meets their expectations.

Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Answering incoming calls and responding to customer requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Working in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of flexibility and adaptability
  • Booking appointments for members with a high degree of data accuracy
  • Maintaining excellent written and verbal communication skills on a consistent basis
  • Identifying and escalating issues to supervisors as needed
  • Adapting to fast-changing guidelines and customer needs
  • Informing clients by explaining procedures, answering questions, and providing information
  • Maintaining and improving quality results by adhering to standards and guidelines
  • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • High school graduate or equivalent (G.E.D.)
  • Minimum of one year experience in an inbound/outbound call center or retail environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in speaking on the phone, using the computer, and keyboard simultaneously
  • Ability to type at least 25 words per minute (preferred)
  • Experience in providing exceptional customer service and maintaining established quality requirements
  • Ability to pass a background check

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:

  • Experience working in the home improvement industry
  • Knowledge of CRM software and customer relationship management principles
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
