Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team at arenaflex. As a key member of our CSC, you'll be responsible for providing information and assistance to individuals, families, and small group employees seeking health insurance coverage through the Maryland Health Connection (MHC). You'll work closely with our team to ensure that customers receive high-quality service and support, and that their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service to individuals, families, and small group employees seeking health insurance coverage through the MHC

  • Assist customers with eligibility and enrollment for Medicaid and Qualified Health Plans on the Exchange
  • Utilize the State's eligibility and enrollment portal and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to perform tasks and duties for HIX customers
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborate with the CSC team to ensure that customers receive high-quality service and support
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics and quality standards
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on MHC policies and procedures

Essential Qualifications

* 2+ years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in the healthcare industry

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • High-speed internet connection and a personal computer with an i5 processor or higher
  • Ability to pass a State Policy Exam with 80% or higher

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working with Medicaid and Qualified Health Plans on the Exchange

  • Knowledge of the MHC and its policies and procedures
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
