Key Responsibilities and Job Elements
As a Part-Time Remote Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for leading a team of hourly workforce, ensuring the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce: Foster a positive and productive work environment, providing guidance and support to your team members to help them achieve their goals.
- Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises: Ensure that our operations meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity, while delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Collaborate with all support teams: Work closely with our Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources teams to develop plans that meet our business objectives.
- Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach: Perform physical tasks that require lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching, while maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
- Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts: Work for extended periods on your feet, standing or walking, to ensure that our operations run smoothly and efficiently.
- Work in an environment where the noise level varies and can be loud: Adapt to changing noise levels and work in environments that may be loud or noisy.
- Work in an environment that is subject to variable temperatures and weather: Work in environments that may be subject to changing temperatures and weather conditions, such as delivery stations with outside loading departments.
- Continuously climb and descend stairs (applies to sites with stairs): Perform tasks that require climbing and descending stairs, while maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
