Key Responsibilities
As an Experienced Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
- Responding to customer inquiries via telephone, resolving basic or tier 1 payment and account-related requests, and providing standardized or scripted responses using basic user-friendly Graphic User Interface (GUI) screens for client systems and established documentation and processes.
- Entering required data into client-provided systems and databases, and determining basic reasons for customer issues using a client-provided decision tree.
- Escalating or referring unresolved customer grievances and requests to more experienced Customer Service Representatives or designated departments for further investigation and resolution.
- Building base knowledge and familiarization of products, policies, and procedures for a limited number of clients, and understanding association guidelines and compliance by frequently referring to online manuals and specific client training required to resolve card holder inquiries.
What We're Looking For
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 6 months minimum call center experience, either remote or onsite within the last 18 months
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Flexibility to work mid-shift to late shifts, including weekends, as part of your weekly schedule
- Ability and flexibility to work hours as assigned, as we're a 24/7 Call Center
- Willingness to be on camera during work hours
Desired Skills and Capabilities
* Acquires and applies job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete assigned routine tasks
- Works on assignments that are routine to semi-routine in nature, requiring limited decision outside of stated processes
- Recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice and has little or no role in decision-making
- Normally receives detailed instructions and follows established procedures on all work, requires instructions on all assignments, and works under close supervision
