Work Schedule

As a remote Customer Service Representative, you will be working a standard 100% remote schedule, with flexible hours to accommodate your needs.

Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for retired government members, providing exceptional customer service and support. You will be responsible for managing inbound calls, researching participant accounts, and addressing basic questions or issues. Your primary goal will be to provide rapid, efficient, and accurate customer service in a professional manner, meeting the requirements of the contract.

Responsibilities

* Manage inbound calls in a timely manner, following call center scripts when handling different topics

  • Research participant accounts to provide accurate and efficient responses
  • Address basic questions or issues, keeping accurate records of all conversations
  • Meet contractual qualitative and quantitative targets
  • Perform tasks associated with call handling, including basic plan and participant file research and updates
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless customer service experiences
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve customer service

Essential Qualifications and Skills

* At least six (6) months to one (1) year of experience in an office setting taking inbound calls

  • Demonstrated typing/keyboard skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to facilitate clear and accurate exchange of information to callers
  • Quality and accuracy of tasks
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

* Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the government sector

  • Knowledge of government benefits and programs
  • Experience with call center software and systems
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
