Position Description This position is responsible for overseeing the quality program of a 150 mm wafer line based on QCi's thin film lithium niobate (TELN) technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of QCi's Quality Assurance and Control (QA/QC), with a focus on semiconductor construction standards, ISO cleanroom protocols, and documentation controls. The successful candidate will work in close collaboration with both the process and yield enhancement teams to continuously improve high volume manufacturing for our TFLN products. The Quality Control Manager is responsible for the overall quality performance on site. You will ensure all work is performed in accordance with applicable codes, customer specifications, and industry best practices-ultimately supporting safe, defect-free execution. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as QCi's on-site lead for all quality-related activities on semiconductor construction projects.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Management Plan aligned with cleanroom and semiconductor-specific standards.
  • Maintain cleanroom compliance protocols, ensuring all personnel adhere to gowning, particle control, and contamination prevention procedures.
  • Perform quality audits and provide ongoing training specific to semiconductor fabrication environments.
  • Lead quality audits, inspections, and quality investigations, identifying trends and corrective actions.
  • Ensure accurate and timely document control in accordance with QCi specifications and industry standards
  • Attend internal and external project meetings, providing updates on quality OKRs, issues, and improvements.
  • Support vendor quality assurance during procurement of cleanroom-specific systems and components.
  • Capture and report on Lessons Learned and quality risk mitigations.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in quality control management, including 5+ years directly in semiconductor or advanced manufacturing environments with demonstrated working knowledge and understanding of relations with customers, business units, and FAB engineering. This role serves as a critical broad communication bridge between companies and departments within organizations.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO Class cleanroom requirements and monitoring systems.
  • Direct experience with cleanroom documentation protocols, and control systems.
  • Effective communicator and leader with experience working on high-stakes, multi-stakeholder projects.
  • Strong technical writing and documentation review skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in leadership, maintaining standards, and driving a culture balancing innovation and standardization.
  • Basic understanding of the photonics integrated circuits field and their measurement techniques

Preferred Qualifications

  • Lead Auditor certification and/or audit management experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access a plus) and project QA/QC tracking tools.
  • Experience working with 5S, 6 Sigma, SPC programs, and GR&R studies (gauge reliability and repeatability)
  • Experience with semiconductor metrology and failure analysis equipment.
