Job Summary
As a Senior Data Analyst at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in supporting our business through data analysis, investigation, and interpretation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify trends, patterns, and correlations in large datasets, and develop actionable recommendations to drive business growth. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving the adoption of data-driven decision making across the organization, leading to increased revenue and business transformations.
Key Responsibilities
* Assemble comprehensive analyses, data visualizations, and multi-functional reporting that provide critical support to business operations and decision-making processes
- Respond to key business questions and provide expert insights on various business streams, including D+ and Hulu, to enhance the customer experience and drive conversions
- Advance the scientific capabilities of the business, collaborate in the design of analytical solutions, and deliver exceptional data insights and products
- Utilize data visualization tools, SQL, and programming languages to access and analyze structured and unstructured data
- Apply statistical methods (t-test, chi-square, ANOVA, correlation, regression, factor analysis, etc.) to understand customer behavior and preferences, and drive business impact
What You'll Bring
* Unbridled curiosity, high intellectual and scientific aptitude, and an insatiable quest for data-driven insights and business results
- A Bachelor's degree in a scientific field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering)
- 3+ years of professional experience as a data analyst in an information and analytics space with expertise in SQL, Python, or R for complex querying, high-level analysis, performance optimization, and working with large datasets
- Experience delivering end-to-end analysis projects: from unclear requirements to a compelling story, open to diverse audiences, and ultimately to a clear business outcome
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and technical partners, and present to senior leadership
Nice to Have
* Master's degree in a scientific field
- Demonstrated data visualization skills with tools such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, Looker, MicroStrategy, Plotly, etc.
- Experience with marketing landing pages, join channels, and business spaces
- Ability to identify and properly escalate issues to management
- Counseling background, MBA, or other multi-industry experience
- Strong motivation and ability to work independently
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Humor and creativity
