Job Overview and Responsibilities

In this exciting role, you'll have the opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home in Texas, engaging with customers who are passionate about their pets. As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be the face of our company, providing personalized support and solutions to our customers' queries and concerns. Your goal will be to deliver exceptional customer experiences, building trust and loyalty with our pet-loving community.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Engaging directly with customers via phone, email, or chat to address their questions, concerns, and feedback
  • Researching and problem-solving to determine appropriate solutions for customers, thinking proactively, and setting follow-ups as needed to ensure contact resolution
  • Operating with understanding, utilizing active listening, patience, empathy, and kindness to customers and team members alike
  • Collaborating with teammates, your direct Manager, and other team members across many levels of the organization using virtual collaboration tools such as Zoom, Slack, and webcams
  • Contributing to an infectious customer-centric culture of collaboration, sharing feedback, and operating in a culture of being open-minded to grow and learn

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • At least 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening) with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Ability to multi-task, maintain a conversation on the phone while navigating on the computer and taking notes, and perform well in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in using computers, both for data entry and rapid navigation through systems and the internet to search for information to help support our customers
  • Ability to adapt to change with the business needs of the company, being flexible and open to new ideas and processes
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in customer service principles and practices
  • Must be able to pass a background check and maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information

  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with a proven ability to self-motivate and manage your time effectively
  • Knowledge of pet care and the pet industry, with a passion for animals and their well-being
