The Role We’re seeking an Implementation Associate to help onboard new customers and set them up for success on the Hauler Hero platform. This role combines structured project work, hands-on platform configuration, data handling, and clear communication to ensure customers can launch smoothly and on time. You’ll work directly with customers and cross-functional teams including Sales, Product, and Support to guide new users through their implementation journey. This is a great fit for someone who’s detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast-moving startup environment where each customer launch makes a real impact. This position includes participation in a rotating weekend coverage schedule to ensure consistent support availability for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Guide new customers through the onboarding process, from kickoff to go-live.
  • Configure Hauler Hero accounts, routes, users, and system settings to meet customer needs.
  • Import, clean, and validate customer data to ensure accurate platform setup.
  • Manage multiple implementation projects simultaneously, ensuring key milestones and timelines are met.
  • Proactively communicate project updates and next steps to customers and internal teams.
  • Document configuration details, decisions, and onboarding steps to support smooth handoff to Success and Support.
  • Identify and escalate risks or blockers early to keep projects on track.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to surface recurring onboarding challenges and opportunities for improvement.
  • Contribute to internal playbooks, templates, and process improvements that help the team scale.

Qualifications

Required

  • 1–3 years of experience in SaaS onboarding, implementation, project coordination, or a related customer-facing role.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, including data manipulation, formatting, filtering, and basic formulas.
  • Comfort learning and explaining technical workflows to non-technical users.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to adapt quickly.
  • Experience working in a structured project environment with defined milestones and timelines.
  • Reliable internet connection and a distraction-free dedicated workspace.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in logistics, operations, or SaaS implementations.
  • Familiarity with tools such as HubSpot, Jira, Notion, Scope or other project management systems.
  • Exposure to payments or mobile apps (Android).
  • Experience creating customer-facing documentation, Loom walkthroughs, or step-by-step guides.
  • Understanding of the waste hauling or environmental services industry.
  • Previous experience as a Hauler Hero user or customer.
