Founded in 2012, we offer train, flight, bus, and ferry tickets, as well as transfers, insurance, and other travel products globally. We are looking for a Junior SEM manager to create & optimize our paid search campaigns to drive traffic, conversions, and ROI for our e-commerce business. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Google Ads and other paid search platforms. They will also possess analytical and creative skills to deliver measurable results while staying on top of industry trends. Scope of work includes collaboration with data, product and design teams within the company. In the marketing department, decisions are driven by data and grounded in performance metrics to ensure meaningful, measurable results. Responsibilities: -Daily account maintenance; -Campaign execution and optimization; -Data & reporting & analysis 4) Learning and tracking.

Requirements

Educational & Professional Background -Education: bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related quantitative field; -1+ year of experience in this role; -Internships in digital marketing or personal projects (e.g., running a small budget for a personal blog or local business) are highly valued. Technical Skills -Platform Knowledge: basic understanding of the Google Ads hierarchy (Account > Campaign > Ad Group > Ad); -Analytical Thinking: ability to identify trends in large datasets; -AI Tooling: familiarity with using AI (like ChatGPT or Gemini) to brainstorm ad copy variations and keyword lists. Creative & Writing Skills -Short-Form Copywriting: ability to write punchy, persuasive headlines within strict character limits (30 characters for headlines, 90 for descriptions); -Visual Sense: an eye for what makes a "good" ad image or video - essential for managing Performance Max and YouTube assets; -User Intent Mapping: understanding the psychology behind a search - knowing the difference between someone searching "what is a laptop" vs. "buy MacBook Pro M3.". Soft Skills -Attention to Detail: in SEM, a misplaced decimal point in a daily budget can cost thousands of dollars. High precision is non-negotiable; -Curiosity: a "test and learn" mindset. The candidate should be excited to find out why one ad outperformed another; -Adaptability. Nice to have: -Work experience in travel / transport ticketing sectors; -Certification in Google Ads or similar platforms; -Google Ads Search, Measurement, and Display certifications. Familiarity with GA4 (Google Analytics).
