Experienced Customs Brokerage Representative - Night Shift - Data Entry - Release (REMOTE)

As a key member of our Release Operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient clearance of international shipments, while providing exceptional customer service and adhering to all relevant regulations and documentation requirements.

Job Summary

As a Customs Brokerage Representative, you will be responsible for ensuring that all shipments are cleared for transport and all legal obligations and documentation requirements are met. This will involve data entry, computer work, and professional communication via email and phone. You will work closely with our team to resolve any issues that may arise, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

* Release, classify, and bill basic import shipments

• Prepare bonds for U.S. Customs for inspection and release of imports
• Assure accurate and timely billings and resolve accounting issues
• Stay up-to-date on Customs and procedure changes
• May be assigned additional tasks as needed

Requirements

* Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• Experience: 2+ years of Brokerage/office experience required.
• Accurate Data Entry Skills: Accurate and efficient data entry skills are essential for this role.
• Excellent Communications Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Previous Experience with MS Word and EXCEL: Previous experience with MS Word and EXCEL, Windows, Email, and various PC-based software programs is a plus.
