Job Summary

As an Experienced Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately entering work orders for dental and laboratory handpieces, reviewing work orders to verify customer warranty claims, and completing warranty work for various vendors. You will also act as a backup to our Customer Service Representatives, assisting with taking overflow telephone calls during periods of high call volume. Key Responsibilities

* Enters work orders for dental and laboratory handpieces into various software programs

  • Reviews work orders to verify customer warranty claims and ensures accuracy
  • Completes warranty work for various vendors, tracking items to ensure accuracy
  • Acts as a backup to the Customer Service Representatives, assisting with taking overflow telephone calls during periods of high call volume
  • Works with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and other software programs
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required

Work Experience

* Previous experience in a relevant position is desired

  • Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) is preferred

Preferred Education

* High School degree or equivalent is required

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies

* Ability to read, understand, and perform standard procedures and work instructions

  • Basic math and logic skills are required
  • Basic computer skills and software use (email, document prep, and spreadsheets) are desired
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

Travel / Physical Demands

* Travel is typically not required

  • Position typically works in an office environment where environmental conditions are stable
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely is required to sit for extended periods of time; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, stretch, and lift up to 15 pounds
