As a Chemistry Tutor, you will play a vital role in guiding and supporting students through organic and biochemistry courses, working closely with our faculty to ensure students' success. Key Responsibilities
Engage students and provide systematic and consistent learning support services in a positive and efficient manner. Assist students with lecture or lab material in chemistry courses, study methods, and technology needed to complete course-related material. Greet students and visitors, and provide general information about the college and its services. Tutoring will take place primarily in-person at either the main campus or Akron location, with some online tutoring available based on hourly needs. Collaborate with faculty to ensure students receive the support they need to succeed. Develop and implement effective tutoring strategies to meet the diverse needs of students. Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student progress. Requirements and Qualifications To be considered for this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a closely related field with courses in general chemistry and organic chemistry. Microsoft Office Application skills and excellent communication skills. Comfort with technology usage and ability to learn new systems quickly. Ability to relate to a diverse student population with ingenuity, creativity, and compassion. Preferred qualifications include: Experience in tutoring or teaching chemistry or related subjects. Familiarity with online learning platforms and tools. Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
