The Role
As a Content Tagger and Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
- Ensuring accurate and comprehensive metadata for our vast library of content
- Enhancing the viewer experience on the arenaflex platform
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve metadata-related issues
- Developing and maintaining metadata standards and best practices
- Analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Providing exceptional customer service to arenaflex users
The Manipulate Aircraft
Our Manipulate Aircraft is a complex system that includes:
- Cloud microservices that customers interact with directly after pressing 'Play'
- Systems for ensuring successful and resilient streaming
- Services critical to making cloud video games possible
- Load-balancing algorithms for optimizing hardware utilization
Challenges We're Solving
We're constantly seeking to answer questions like:
- How will we design our systems to react to failure, internet traffic shifts, and other real-time adjustments?
- How do we steer traffic for live streaming over the backbone?
- How will we quality assure the most popular content to improve the viewer experience?
- What is the gold standard way to process petabytes of content into our machines to optimize their throughput?
- How must we design our streaming hardware given purchaser behavior?
- How do we choose the first-class server for every cloud game session?
What We're Looking For
We're searching for a detail-oriented and passionate individual who:
- Enjoys building software and gear that helps teammates do their jobs better
- Is invested in our era and willing to live agile
- Is comfortable with ambiguity and can iterate quickly on ideas
- Is committed to fostering an inclusive environment that allows everyone to do their best work
- Has 3+ years of software development or engineering experience with a modern programming language
- Has experience in a microservices environment
Essential Qualifications
